As mentioned in the last blog, in today's time the NFL plays a big part on many different platforms of social media. For example, I got a Twitter notification a few days ago about Larry Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald is a wide receiver for the Pitt Panthers and drafted to the Arizona Cardinals in the third round in 2004. A big rumor has be going around that he may retire. He is 36 years old and has played for 15 seasons just for the Cardinals. Fitzgerald responded in a tweet toward the president of the Arizona Cardinals.
The New Orleans Saints and the NFL are in a major conflict. Last Sunday, January 20, 2019 the Saints were playing the LA Rams. Near the end of the game, there was a missed call by the refs that clearly should have been pass interference. This was a missed call that could have put the Saints in a position to win the Super Bowl. There has been legal actions against the NFL for this missed call. Videos of what the players have to say about the missed call and some ways to solve this problem in the future can be seen here.
The way a Narrative story can be formed with social media and the NFL is the taking the progress has been making from week one to their last week in their season. For example, a lot of sports anchors and analysts make stories every week about all of the teams that play every week. A narrative can be formed by taking these week by week stories and combining them creating an overall season Narrative.
